Women Can Prevent Or Delay Hormonal Hair Loss
Unlike Men, Female Hair Loss Occurs In The Parting And In The Hairline
Hair loss is an issue not only present in men, but also in women. According to studies, 70% of the women experience hair loss, mainly as a result of hormonal changes in pregnancy and menopause. In some cases it is temporary, but in others it is permanent. Also, many women consider their hair as a personal signature, in which they invest time and money, therefore, the first signs of hair loss can be distressing. While male baldness begins with a receding hairline or a crown, female hair loss begins in the hairline and parting. In many cases, the cause can be genetic or can be a result of natural aging. Fortunately, there are ways to delay it, such as a proper diet, taking iron supplements to prevent anemia, avoiding stress tight hairstyles, harsh chemicals, and excessive heat. There are other solutions which are frequently used in men, such as medication that prevent the weakening of hair follicles, like finasteride and minoxidil, and hair transplants.
