Thinning does not only happen to hair. It can also occur in eyebrows. The main reason is related to hormonal changes, such as estrogen or pregnancy, but might be also old age, genetics, or diets. Low estrogen levels can be treated with proper nutrition or therapy. Also, certain medications, stress, or health conditions can cause a rapid hair loss that also affects eyebrows, called telogen effluvium.
