Hair Dyeing Can Increase Shredding And Hair Loss
Peroxide And Ammonia Attach The Hair Structure
One of the causes of hair loss is hair treatments with harsh chemicals. Among these is hair dyeing. This process attacks hair, increasing shredding but does not decrease hair growth because it does not affect the follicles. The dyeing process affects the structure of the hair because of the hair combing and manipulation, the ammonia and peroxide in the substances, causing the hair to fall off or shred. The dye also weakens the hair shaft causing it to break. In extreme cases the breakage can occur at the base of the hair, in contact with the scalp, causing temporary alopecia until the hair grows again. More details click here.
